HOW QUICKLY WILL MY TEEPEE SHIP?
Natural canvas teepees ship within about a week via USPS or FedEx (depending on your teepee size, your location and current shipping costs). Colored canvas teepees, or adding a custom order teepee mat can increase the production time to 2-3 weeks to ship. Remember, production times do not include transit times. If you need your teepee faster, please contact us at ThePlayhouseKid@aol.com to confirm your teepee can ship faster than these stated production times.
HOW QUICKLY WILL MY TOY SHIP?
Your toy is handmade upon purchase and will ship via First Class Mail 3-5 business days or less.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND AND RETURN POLICY?
We want you to be completely happy with your teepee, playhouse or toy! Because all of our products are handmade and custom, we ask that customers request a refund for non-personalized items within 3 days of receiving the item, and ship the item back within 7 days. Note that, because they cannot be resold, personalized items and organic items cannot be returned. Digital downloads are also final sale, no refunds.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT CONSTRUCTION TIME FOR CARD TABLE PLAYHOUSES?
We are currently sold out of ready to ship playhouses and will not be accepting orders for playhouses until sometime in mid 2023.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are a small, handmade sewing studio located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. All of our items are lovingly handmade in the USA.
DO I HAVE TO ASSEMBLE MY TEEPEE?
Teepees are shipped fully assembled and ready for play! All teepees come with one piece poles, very important for safe, uninterrupted play. No assembly is required. Simply slide your teepee out of the box, spread out the poles and it is ready for the first adventure.
CAN I PURCHASE A TEEPEE MAT FOR MY TEEPEE?

DO YOUR FABRICS CONTAIN ANY FLAME RETARDANTS OR OTHER CHEMICAL TREATMENTS?
There are NO flame retardants or other chemical treatments used on any of our fabrics.
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT MEASUREMENTS ON A TEEPEE?
The most important teepee measurements are the BASE SIZE and the FABRIC HEIGHT in the exact center. These measurements provide the size of the fabric portion of the teepee, which provides the area of play. The assembled height tells you the total height of the teepee, including the poles, when it is set up for play.
HOW BIG IS MY TEEPEE WHEN IT IS FOLDED UP FOR STORAGE?
Teepees are 5" x 5" x 6' when they are folded up tightly for storage.

WHY DO YOU USE FELT TO MAKE YOUR PLAYHOUSES?
We use high quality, eco friendly felt to make our playhouses because it is more durable than flimsy cotton fabric. Your playhouse will last for years, and will never need ironing. It can be folded up and stored, and it will look perfect the next time you bring it out for play. Cotton playhouses wrinkle and rip too easily.

HOW DO YOU SHIP AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Playhouses and medium/large teepees ship via USPS only. XL and XXL Teepees ship via FedEx. Shipping varies depending on product size, please see the individual product listings for information.
We do not offer signature confirmation on our products. When your item ships, you will receive a tracking number via email so you know when to expect delivery.

I'M HAVING AN ISSUE WITH MY TEEPEE OR PLAYHOUSE
Don't worry! We stand by our products. If you experience any sort of issue with a teepee, playhouse or toy that needs to be repaired within the first year of purchase, we will fix it for you! Please email us with the subject line, "Repair" and a picture of the issue you are experiencing. Depending on the issue, you may be responsible for shipping and/or repair costs.
HOW CAN I CLEAN MY TEEPEE?
Please use a wet rag to wipe off your teepee. Remember, high quality canvas is very tightly woven, so it is naturally stain resistant. Most typical stains will wipe right off! We absolutely do not recommend machine washing and will not guarantee that your teepee will survive washing in a wash machine.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
We charge tax to purchases made within WI and any other states that require tax be paid on online purchases.
DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE PRICES?
We offer wholesale prices for our teepees only. Due to the handmade nature of the teepees, it is not a traditional wholesale markdown. Please contact us for more information about wholesale teepee orders.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Contact The Playhouse Kid with your Order # and details of what you would like to change. If your order has not been started, you can definitely make changes!
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
We work quickly here at The Playhouse Kid, and ready to ship items often go out in the mail the same day. If your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If your item is made to order, uses custom fabric, or has been cut, it cannot be cancelled. Cancellation requests are only guaranteed within one hour of purchase, Central Time.
